The Dealership We all know the shock of being rear ended by unexpected trials in life, but there is hope! On May 27, 2026, very recently, I was rear ended hard! All kinds of emotions surfaced. I was concerned about the pain I was experiencing, but the emergency room said I had no broken bones, just very sore muscles. Thank God! I had a 2015 vehicle with low mileage that ran great, so I wasn't motivated to seek out another car. Then my car was totaled, therefore I had to go find another one. I found one at the dealership with updated safety features and technology. This prompted me to think of God as the Dealership, as well as being the Creator and Owner. Here people depend on the salesperson and the mechanic to help move about in life. God contains all we need, that is, what people seek can be found in this "dealership". One day when I was pondering and praying, I asked God a question and I heard in my heart an answer. So we started conversing...
ME: What are you doing with me my God?
GOD: Entering the depths of your soul.
ME: And what are you finding?
GOD: A soul in search of Love.
ME: Will you hold my hand while I seek this Love?
GOD: I will certainly hold your hand and I will walk with you until you find what you are searching for.
ME: How will I recognize you so that I willingly reach out to you as you hold me and walk beside me.
GOD: Each breath you take is my gift to you. I will give you eyes to see and ears to listen. You will recognize me in the peace you feel in your heart.
ME: What will we talk about as we walk together?
GOD: We will discuss your needs wants and desires. I will listen attentively, teaching you how to listen to others in their needs. We will talk about your life and about your soul.
ME: That's all about me, but what about you?
GOD: I will show you just how entrenched we are. How I love you unconditionally. I will show you mercy and compassion so that you in turn show love to others. I am the Alpha and the Omega and everything in between. Have patience, my dear child. You will get to know me because your heart is open and willing.
ME: Who are you then?
GOD: I am your best moments in life, and in your worst moments, I cradle you. I am the tears you shed in sorrow and in joy. I am the light that guides in the dark. I am both a mystery and simplicity. I am everywhere you seek. Just ask and you will see that I am your innermost thoughts. I am but a moment in time. I am your beloved, I live in your soul. I am.
ME: Why does it seem so hard to find you at times?
GOD: Because of distractions, your ego is a healthy part of you until you allow it to take control. This is a distraction. You need to find it within yourself to surrender your ego, allowing me to guide you. I will never force you, though. I've given you freedom to choose your own path because Love does not impose. Focus on what brings you joy, the real joy I give, don't let the world distract you away from our relationship.
ME: How do we connect in a relationship when I can't see you?
GOD: I've sent you angels and through them you can see me. Your husband as an example, I was the cement that brought you together, and in that relationship, you have been able to see me. Your family, your friends and even strangers are sent to you so that you can see that there are many possibilities to having a relationship with me. Remember, I always seek you out hoping you will open your arms and surrender your soul to me, so that I can walk with you and guide you. Keep waking up your heart to recognize me in all aspects of your life. Again, focus on what is important and you will see me.
ME: What do you mean by important?
GOD: First love of self, as you are crafted in my image. Get to know who you truly are in light of me. This is important because, without self-knowledge you will stagnate at the bottom of the ladder. Look up, seek what is above and start climbing that ladder. My heart is your destination.
ME: What if I have fear of heights, how can I climb?
GOD: One step at a time, with the knowledge that I am the ladder and the destination.
ME: I am understanding that we are tethered together. That I am a part of you, and you are a part of me. In all reality we are inseparable.
GOD: That is correct. I complete you, and you as well as all your brothers and sisters complete me in the sense that we are all interconnected. It is like an orchestra producing beautiful melodies. Each instrument adds to the music. You've expressed the desire to be an instrument of my love. And this I will give you without hesitating. I will use your life to bring about my kingdom here and now.
ME: Oh, so many questions, and so much to ponder. Give me the wisdom to discern how my life should be lived. It is late and I'm tired. May I call upon you again?
GOD: I am here 24/7 for you and for all my Creation. I am happy you like to converse. I love you, so let's do this again!
Oh that conversation was so enlightening. I wanted the conversation to continue but knowing that our God is always available is comforting. Thank you for sharing this intimate conversation.
