When rear ended by life, God provides

The Dealership  We all know the shock of being rear ended by unexpected trials in life, but there is hope! On May 27, 2026, very recently, I was rear ended hard! All kinds of emotions surfaced. I was concerned about the pain I was experiencing, but the emergency room said I had no broken bones, just very sore muscles.  Thank God! I had a 2015 vehicle with low mileage that ran great, so I wasn't motivated to seek out another car. Then my car was totaled, therefore I had to go find another one. I found one at the dealership with updated safety features and technology. This prompted me to think of God as the Dealership, as well as being the Creator and Owner. Here people depend on the salesperson and the mechanic to help move about in life. God contains all we need, that is, what people seek can be found in this "dealership". We all want to find something to take us from point A to point Z. From birth un...

Come to me when life is burdensome

Who walks beside you in life? Jesus says "Come to me all you who are weary and find life burdensome, and I will refresh you. Take my yolk upon your shoulders and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light". This means that Jesus/God will help us pull the load of life. If we choose to join and unite ourselves to Christ, we learn to be like Him, to be gentle with ourselves and others and to be truly humble of heart. We will not be bearing our p...

How to be childlike in our spiritual journey?

Indeed, the Architect of Love has built the door into heaven so low that no one, but a small child can pass through it unless to get down to a child's little height, he goes in on his knees. ~ Caryll Houselander I love this quote because it reminds you and me to be childlike in our spiritual journey. Being like a child means various things: To not let go of our wonderful childlike imagination, that is, we can imagine this Divine Architect in so many ways. We can use this imagination to play and dance and sing with God. To look at the world and creation with the eyes of awe and wonder. To be carefree in our hearts, knowing that if we fall, our Divine parent will lift us up and hold us as we cry. To make ourselves small, letting our ego go so that our Blessed Creator can fill our souls, that is, to decrease for God to increase in us. Just as a child is dependent on their parents, we too become dependent on the Most High. This way, we don't have to carry the weight of life by ou...
