When rear ended by life, God provides

                      The Dealership  We all know the shock of being rear ended by unexpected trials in life, but there is hope! On May 27, 2026, very recently, I was rear ended hard! All kinds of emotions surfaced. I was concerned about the pain I was experiencing, but the emergency room said I had no broken bones, just very sore muscles.  Thank God! I had a 2015 vehicle with low mileage that ran great, so I wasn't motivated to seek out another car. Then my car was totaled, therefore I had to go find another one. I found one at the dealership with updated safety features and technology. This prompted me to think of God as the Dealership, as well as being the Creator and Owner. Here people depend on the salesperson and the mechanic to help move about in life. God contains all we need, that is, what people seek can be found in this "dealership". The Indwelling Spirit of God

             


 Spirit of Divine Indwelling


Oh sweet Holy Spirit
Divine presence of God 
Dwelling within the world
And in our souls
Judaism calls you Shekhinah
Female aspect of God
You hovered over the waters
During creation
You came upon Jesus
In the form of a dove
You glowed upon the apostles
In the form of fire
You are God's ruach, pneuma
That is God's wind, breath
As the Wisdom of God
You instruct and enlighten
You inhabit our souls
Clay becomes flesh 
With one breath
You are one with the Triune God
One aspect of the Eternal One
Spirit of God
Oh Holy One
Help us recognize you
As God's power, wisdom and presence
In us and around us
You truly are Love
Blessed and holy
Sweet loving Shekhinah 
As a mother cares for her young
Cover us with your maternal wings
And be with us always
Amen

Joined together in Love

Lent means Spring

  Ash Wednesday  Today is the beginning of Lent which means "Spring". Spring is the time of year where dead things come to life. It means that the seeds that were buried in the ground during the winter grow into flowers. Dead tree limbs resurrect and begin to grow a new canopy of leaves. Animals create new life in the warming and awakening of the earth in this season. Earth begins to awaken from its slumber, it remembers the dark and cold nights, where everything rested only to stir up new life as the eyes of nature open wide, signaling new beginnings. Lent is the time for us to be birthed and be born anew. The 9 months in the womb are like the 40 days before Easter. Here we are formed and defined as we grow into the people we were meant to be.
